Skull Man, in defeat, self-destructs, ending the Robot Masters once more.For decades we've all been taking out Dr. Like the first incarnation, they attempt to defeat or recruit Mega Man to their cause, but are defeated. Unlike the first organization, which was a group of robots attacking Silicon City, this incarnation is a army formed in Section 33 where the plan to overthrow Silicon City and the world and start a new Hard Age.
Guts Man and Blasto Woman join this new faction after being recruited by Chaotique, who herself has joined. In the comic series, a new incarnation of the Robot Masters is formed under the leadership of Skull Man. By the end of the series, Breaker Night and the Robot Masters attacked the Light House, but were defeated and brought to justice, while Namagem fled, his hatred for Mega Man, his family, and humans burning. Throughout the series, Lord Obsidian recruited several robots to the Robot Masters and fought against Mega Man who protected Silicon City from his attacks. Night then recruited Fire Man to his cause and had him start causing fires, arriving on the scene attempting to convince bystanders that robots were the enemy, provoking tension between humankind and the robots. Night kidnapped Namagem, Aki Light's brother, and tortured him into becoming his acolyte. In the animated series, the Robot Masters were led by Breaker Night in the disguise of Lord Obsidian. While the context of the term Robot Master means the most advanced robot amongst several other robots in the video games, the term Robot Master in the show denotes the idea that robots are superior, therefore masters, of humans. Wily is supposedly a strong believer in their cause and believes that Mega Man should lead them staying he wishes to be a “master's servant”.
After Breaker Night is imprisoned for his crimes, Skull Man becomes their leader, where he masses an army in the Bad Lands and marches them to Silicon City to conquer it.
Originally led by Sergeant Breaker Night under the disguise of Lord Obsidian, the Robot Masters strive for robot supremacy over humankind, and cause chaos in society while attempting to recruit others to their cause.
